Don't Judge a Book by spiderweber Don't Judge a Book by spiderweber
Cassy closed her bedroom door and snickered as she pulled out an old tattered book. She had been walking home when an old man gave sold her the book. Being a horror novelist Cassy couldn't resist the strange book with markings etched across the cover. She set it down on her table, lit a small candle (She never really liked the glare of lightbulbs), and opened it up. She looked over the first couple of pages. The book was in another language. She guessed Latin, or some long forgotten dialect. She tapped the little trasparent box over the book, stirring the small spider inside.
Cassy smiled as she looked at her little pet and tossed in a cricket. The spider wrapped it up almost as soon as it hit the web, and bit into it, sealing its fate. Cassy look back to the book.
"I wonder what this says?" She asked herself. She started to read the page aloud, not knowing if she were pronouncing the words corect. What was the worst that could happen?
Suddenly the pages began to glow and a gust of wind blew through the room, even though no windows were open. Cassy gasped as she saw something start to emerge from the page. Its long spindly legs came out and latched onto the girl. Cassy tried to free herself, but in turn helped the creature by pulling it out faster. The creature emerged from the book and revealed itself to be a giant spider. Cassy screamed, but they were soon gut short as she was forced onto the bed and spun around as the spider began to wrap her. Cassy looked as best she could at the book. It had flipped over to the next page where she could make out the translated words "Spider's Curse" Written across the top. But it was too late. She had already summoned the beast.
Just a little something I did a couple days ago. Not much to say about it. I like how it turned out, and that's that. Hope you like it.

There's a moral in this story. The moral I'm guessing is if you speak a language at least know what it is that you're saying.

I'll save her from that spider. The only problem is how will she escape me
I'm not sure. I don't think she will. XD
i think in next turn she turns into a spider when the spider wraps her up and bites her then she goes into the book and makes other people into spiders too that would be cool. :3
