White Christmas

Joy the drider smiled as she watched her family chat with each other, and the kids plying about the house. Tonight's Webmas eve was going amazingly well.
joy felt a tug on her leg, signaling that something had fallen into her web, "Perfect timing."
She crawled out of her cave and into the snow. she had set up dozens of webs around her house, that were easily diguised by the white of the snow. She peered into the pitfall to see the girl struggling to get free as most of them did. Joy licked her lips as she carefully made her way to the girl. The girl screamed as she saw the drider. She begged and pleaded for the drider to let her go, but Joy only grinned in response.
Joy plucked the girl from the web, soon wrapping her in stronger cocooning silk.
"My aren't we a feisty one?" joy asked as she carried the wiggling cocoon back onto solid snow, "You're just in time. My family was just about to sit down for Webmas dinner, and they would love to... heh heh... Have you."
the girl thrashed about, but to no avail. She was captured.

And here's the last Christmas picture. When I first drew this it didn't seem as much a Christmas picture as it did just a winter picture, but then I had the little idea of adding in good ol' Santa Claus in the background, flying off to deliver his next parsel. Hmmm... maybe he was the one who dropped the gift off at the drider's lair to begin with? >w>... Merry Christmas to all.
